Prevention of Medical Errors CME Program

"Prevention of Medical Errors" is a two part CME series, offered on The Virtual Lecture Hall (VLH), that is comprised of the following modules:

  • The Search For Causes of Error
  • Preventing Your Errors, Improving the System

This program was developed concurrently with the six learning modules found on the HISC site. Medical Directions Incorporated (MDI), the electronic medical education publication firm that developed this HISC Website, operates The VLH.

To access the "Prevention of Medical Errors" CME program, visit The Virtual Lecture Hall, which requires a one-year membership for $30 (includes 2 credits of CME certificates). After registering an account, you can access all programs, including "Prevention of Medical Errors," via the "Courses" menu at the top of the VLH screen. Additional fees apply if you wish to receive more than 2 credits of CME certificates of participation or participate in quiz-based, self-assessment programs.
